We were recently approached by one of our long term ecommerce clients who’s ecommerce site (with thousands of products) had experienced significant growth over the past year. Their website traffic levels were up… and as a result of the increased traffic it was causing a corresponding increased server load, which resulted in slower load times. Most website and hosting companies would have recommended they move to a larger and more expensive & powerful hosting plan, possibly costing them hundreds of dollars more a month.
