When I talk mention WordPress for the first time to a prospective client, they usually answer with:
What’s WordPress? I’ve never heard of it.
It’s not surprising. It doesn’t have the financial might of a big player like Microsoft, Apple, or Google pushing advertising so they can increase sales and drive up their profit. WordPress is free! It’s open source! Anyone anywhere can download and use it!
But unlike many things in life, you don’t get what you pay for it. In fact… you get much, much more. So much more that the big brands around the glove have taken notice and now power their online presence with WordPress.
